These are examples of book spine poetry I put together for a class once. I got rid of most of my books for a move a couple of years before, but I still had great material to work with.

These are fun for parties or even when you’re alone, like how Woody Harrelson said novelties condoms are. These are from a friend and she has the ones I made for her. You cut out some interesting words or short phrases from a book you don’t mind destroying, then paste them to a cardboard backing for stability and longevity. Make enough and you can pull them out of a bag like you’re playing Scrabble.
