      <image:caption>This is another poem from the book. I wrote “Senator Franken” around the two-week period before and after Al Franken resigned from the Senate. It was all doubly hard to think about while Roy Moore seemed to be the front-runner in the Alabama contest. There was a stanza or two mentioning Moore and the abhorrence of a win by him under the circumstances, but I decided those would detract from the message here.</image:caption>
